History of Domaine du Moulin Camus

The estate is where Catherine Huteau-Boulanger grew up.

She was gently guided into this world by her mother, Jeanne, and then trained in the art of winemaking by her father, Jean Huteau. François Boulanger joined her a few years later to support her, bringing his own expertise to the family adventure. Together, they carry on the tradition today, with Catherine infusing it with her dynamism, vivacity, and generosity.

The cultivation of our vines is part of an environmental approach that promotes biodiversity. As a result, our entire vineyard is managed using sustainable agriculture methods. Our vintages come from vines that are cultivated, plowed, or grass-covered depending on the specific plots. We use the sexual confusion technique to combat pests in a clean and healthy way. When it comes to white wines, Melon de Bourgogne reigns supreme over the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation. Folle Blanche, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon complete the range. The estate is unique in cultivating around ten hectares of red grape varieties including Gamay, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Our red wines are vinified without added sulfur and using indigenous yeasts.

You can find the wines of Domaine du Moulin Camus at our partner restaurants and wine shops, but also in around thirty countries. The entire production is distributed by Vignobles FBV and FB Vins Diffusion, structures created by François Boulanger to expand the international reach and renown of our vintages.
